Biography

Dr. Jiaming Wu is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), where he earned his PhD. He also holds a Master of Medicine from Guangdong Pharmaceutical University and a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. His multidisciplinary work focuses on unraveling roles of novel metabolic hormones in metabolic diseases, identifying novel druggable targets using advanced animal and primary cell models, and leveraging AI-powered multi-omics and drug discovery technologies to discover synergistic therapeutic combinations for obesity-related cardiovascular diseases, cancers, and cancer-associated cachexia.
