Wire Myography for Isometric Tension Recording (Danish Myo Technology DMT)

  • Measurement of isometric tension in isolated arterial rings ex vivo under physiological conditions (37 °C, pH 7.4) as an approximation for vascular function in vivo.
  • High sensitivity for determinations e.g. in mouse aorta, carotid, mesenteric and renal arteries.
  • Evaluation of endothelial dysfunction in murine disease models and transgenic animals.

Yeast Two-hybrid (Y2H) Screening

Yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) screening is a mature technique to discover novel protein interactions and maps the precise binding regions between two proteins. Our service includes:

  • Cloning: Subclone gene of interest into Y2H vector and transform into yeast.
  • Testing for “bait” auto-activation.
  • Screening:
  • - Perform large scale (pre-made or custom-made) library screen.
    - Phenotypic analysis (up to 4 reporter genes are used).
    - Recover plasmids from yeast and transform into E.coli.
